Tarkill Soccer & Lacrosse Club Financial Assistance Policy
Tarkill Soccer & Lacrosse Club is committed to providing opportunities for all eligible players to participate in our travel and recreational programs, regardless of financial circumstances. To support this mission, we offer financial assistance to help cover player registration fees, based on available funding each season.
General Information
- Financial assistance applies to registration fees only. Costs such as uniforms, tournament fees, and other team expenses are not covered.
- Assistance is granted per season, and families must reapply each season if continued support is needed.
- All awards are subject to Tarkill Board approval and availability of funds.
- Financial aid funding comes from a limited fund and is awarded based on demonstrated need and family income.
- Applicants must not have any past due balances from previous seasons or the current season.
- Awards may be revoked if accounts become past due at any point. Per club policy, families must remain in good financial standing by making timely monthly payments when applicable.
- Early application is strongly encouraged. Funds are limited and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
- All applications and personal information are kept in the strictest confidence by the Tarkill Board of Directors.
Eligibility Requirements
Families may qualify if they:
- Receive public assistance such as:
- Free or reduced-price school lunch
- SNAP (food stamps)
- TANF
- Housing assistance
- Are experiencing significant financial hardship as determined by the Tarkill Board.
If additional hardships apply (e.g., recent hospitalization, major illness, loss of income), please submit a brief letter to the Board explaining your circumstances. This may be taken into account during the review process.
Tarkill reserves the right to request documentation (e.g., proof of assistance or income verification) to confirm eligibility.
How to Apply for Financial Aid
- Access PlayMetrics
- 📱 On Mobile: Download the PlayMetrics App and open it.
- 💻 On Desktop: Go to PlayMetrics and log in.
- Navigate to “Programs”
- Select the “Programs” tab on the bottom menu.
- Tap the dropdown arrow in the top-left and choose “Financial Aid.”
- Submit an Application
- Tap the plus sign (+) to begin your request.
- Select the player(s) and complete the form with all required information.
- Optional: Submit Additional Documentation
- If applicable, email a hardship letter to info@tarkillsoccer.com to supplement your application.
- Board Review & Notification
- All applications are reviewed by the Tarkill Board of Directors.
- Applicants will be notified of their status within 30 days of submission.
